Volunteers are here by called for from eligible Time Scale PAs working in Rajahmundry Town / Ramachandrapuram / Anaparthy to work as CTR and ATR in the below mentioned offices. The official should have satisfactory computer knowledge to handle the PO work. Preference will be given to the officials who are working in that office to avoid movement of the official and disturbance in the middle of the academic year.

PRODUCTIVITY LINKED BONUS FOR 2010-11

Directorate Vide Lr.No: 26-07/2011-PAP dated 23-09-2011 has given orders for payment of Productivity Linked Bonus for the accounting year 2010-11 equivalent of emoluments of 60(Sixty) days to the employees of Department of Posts in Group D, Group C and non gazetted Group B. Ex-gratia payment of Bonus to GDS who are regularly appointed after observing all appointment formalities, and Adhoc payment of Bonus to Casual Labourers who have been conferred Temporary status are also to be paid equivalent to allowances / wages respectively for 60 Days for the same period.

BPL ACCOUNTS

Revised instructions for opening of  BPL accounts have been posted in our website www.tamilnadupost.nic.in/sdc/sblan.htmHenceforth, BPL accounts should be opened in the ONLINE MODULE of Sanchaypost only and the account number allotted will be from the regular  block allotted for SB accounts. While opening BPL acounts, counter officials should enter the following details under the Introducer particulars:

a) Select ‘Others’ in the dropdown option for Scheme.
b) Enter ‘BPL’ in the introducer name, address, city and pincode.
This is mandatory for all BPL accounts, failing which the account cannot be classified as a BPL account. The counter officials should be suitably instructed without fail.
The same procedure is to be adopted for opening of BPL accounts in the SOSB Online module at HO.
For BPL accounts already opened in NREGS Data Entry Module:
a. Open Form No. 0459 in Initialisation Group
b. Add a new block
c. Enter the starting number and the last number of the accounts opened as BPL accounts.
c. In the 'Latest Number' field, enter the last BPL account number opened.
d. Click on 'Save'
The corresponding block should be deleted from the initialisation of NREGS Account Number Blocks.

CREATION OF MGNREGS ELECTRONIC DATA

RO VM-17 vide Lr.No. BD-II/NREGS/EGS/2011-12 dated 19-09-2011 has instructed that a Workshop will be conducted on 23-09-2011 at RO for Divisional Team i.e SPOs, DO Systems Administrator & OA(SB) regarding creation of electronic data of MGNREGS SB accounts and obtaining electronic Pay order details from Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and integrating the deposit data with Sanchay Post for facilitating updation of payment details HOs/SOs. In turn DO Level Workshops will be conducted from 24-09-2011 to 26-09-2011 for HO/SO level staff, SAs & SBCO staff members.

PROCEDURE FOR HANDLING OF RMFS CHEQUES

PTC, Mysore has instructed to follow the procedure towards acceptance of RMFS cheques at SOs through Digifrank option in ePayment.

If the SO is sending the RMFS cheques to Other offices (HO), it should send soft copy of the text file of the report "Cheques sent to OHO' along with the cheque for uploading the text file at HO by the Treasurer while accepting the Cheque. Then only, Clearance date particulars for the Cheque will be updated in the Central server from the HO concerned, once the data is entered at HO in Treasury module.

Cabinet approved 7% DA hike from 01.07.2011

The Union Cabinet today approved to increase Dearness Allowance by 7% to Central Government employees.
The rate of Dearness allowance shall be enhanced from the existing rate of 51% to 58%.
Revised rates effective from 1.7.2011.
Finance Ministry will publish detailed Office Memorandum regarding this issue within this month.
The amount of additional instalment of Dearness allowance and the arrears for two months will be paid in cash to all Central Government employees.
This will benefit more than 50 lakh serving employees and 38 lakh pensioners.
This DA hike will be impact in the Transport allowance also, according to the classes of cities (5400 GP and above = Rs.3200 + DA thereon, below 4200 GP = Rs.600 + DA thereon and above 4200 GP = Rs.1600 + DA thereon).
The highest rate of additional Derness allowance of 10% from July, 2010 and the least of these 2% from July, 2006.
The calculation of Dearness allowance is with the Pay in the pay band plus Grade Pay multiple with 58% is equal to Revised payment of DA from July, 2011.
