EXTENSION OF IMO FACILITY

Regional Office has extended the iMO facility to 3 more post offices in our Division. At present the iMO facility is in 32 post offices out of 59 offices in our Division. The facility extended to the following offices & 

the Systems Administrators were also directed to activate the sites immediately.

Release of Sanchay Post version 6.6.1 – Preparatory steps

Please complete to finish the preparatory steps where Data Entry Module is not disabled immediately. The offices where Data Entry Module is disabled may be awaited till further clarification is received towards installation of the Data Entry Module again at SOs for completing the Database Discrepancies before upgradation of the new Version.

SUBMISSION OF ORIGINAL INVOICES IN R/O HARDWARE

Regional office has instructed to submit all the consignee copies (I-Notes) & Installation Reports of the entire hardware which was supplied to Class C offices. Therefore please take necessary action towards submission of all original invoice copies of the Hardware (i.e Computers / Genset / Weighing Scales / UPS System) received to your office to this office by keeping xerox copies at your end without any delay.

IMPORTANT POINTS

      1.    Please take the backup everyday without fail

2.     Copy the same to the drive which was given to your office

3.     Please change the passwords timely in all the modules.

4.     Follow Shift Begin and Shift End sequence without fail

5.     Maintain History sheets for the hardware available at your office

6.     Please maintain Error Book for the problems committed at your end without fail

7.     Don’t delete cheques unnecessarily in Treasury module at any cost 

8.     Don’t enter to the back dates in the server

9.     Don’t misuse Broadband available at your office for downloading wallpapers / screensavers etc in the systems.

10.  Preserve the CDs of the Hardware safely

SANCHAY POST 6.6.1 VERSION

The SDC chennai is releasing latest version of Sanchay Post Software on 19-03-2012. The version is 6.6.1. Before upgradation of the version please ensure all the before version were completely upgraded or not. The Systems Administrators will be directed to upgrade the same at all Computerised Post Offices dealing with Sanchay Post Software.
